Where ideas flow.

These Days

It’s that time again,

the time for pomp and cheer!

It’s that time again,

Musical Monday is here!

Hello all! I hope you all had a great weekend, and that you’re ready to tackle this week with a tenacious ferocity! xP

Anyway, I don’t know about you, but this is going to be a busier-than-normal week for me. I have to write a paper (already), take my first Algebra quiz, and I have a bunch of homework to take care of as well – and that’s just schoolwork! :P

Thankfully everything is going smoothly, though (thus far), and so long as I stay on top of things, I should be able to keep up with posting here. ^_^

But back to music!

Because of school and work, I’ve been feeling somewhat drained. The only things keeping me awake at this point have been caffeinated beverages, and rock music.

Specifically, Dr. Pepper and Foo Fighters.

To me, this song is powerful. The singer is tired of being told that everything is going to be okay – especially by those who don’t understand – and he’s just waiting for the day when they finally experience what he’s been through. Not out of spite, though, but so they can understand what he’s been through and what he’s dealing with, so they can finally see what’s really going on. Unless you’ve experienced the same thing, it’s impossible to understand what someone else is going through.

One of these days, everything will come to light.

Anyway, that’s what I got out of this song. I know it’s not for everyone, but I hope you can at least appreciate it in some small way.

And that concludes this Musical Monday post!

Have a great week, my friends. :)

~Timothy
