Silence.
Embracing those
who have
loved and lost,
those who have
suffered so.
Silence.
Reminding us
to bow our heads
in solemn prayer,
to never, ever
forget.
Silence.
Just a moment,
a quiet pause in a
lifetime of
movement.
Stop.
Hush now.
Silence.
Can you hear them?
The whispers of
the ones we lost
all those years ago,
telling us to
push on and to
never ever give up,
to live our lives
and fully know
that they will
always
be with us here -
in our hearts and
in our minds.
Silence.
We will
never
forget.
